Mō te tūnga | About the role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated person to join our team as the Organisational Designer. This is a newly created role, and sits within the HR Business Projects function. As a passionate technical expert the Organisational Designer will be instrumental in providing thought leadership and strategy to progress opportunities of organisational design across the business – ensuring viability, consistency and validity of design, while managing people risks appropriately.
The Organisational Designer will be hands on and get stuck in to work collaboratively with the wider People Services team and the business, ensuring projects are managed effectively to enable the business to realise the potential of its people, strategy, and resources in line with strategic and operational goals.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the design and roll out of an organisational design framework and engagement strategy. * Establish and lead projects and initiatives involving multidisciplinary teams to deliver on identified organisational design subject matter as required * Represent People Services and/or People, Leadership and Culture in enterprise-wide programmes or pieces of work to ensure work aligns with strategic and operational goals * Identify organisational design linkages to structures, leadership, culture and performance in order to create solutions in liaison with key stakeholders that create sustainable, fit for purpose solutions.

- Extensive demonstrated experience designing and successfully implementing organisational design processes in a large and complex environment * Comprehensive technical expertise in organisational design methodologies and associated tools and methods * Broad knowledge of HR and ER practice * Extensive experience engaging effectively with people at all levels of an organisation. * Collaborative mind-set – able to work effectively within a team environment and provide support and services as * required. * Strong facilitation and influencing skills at a senior stakeholder level. * Ability to gather, analyse, utilise, and maintain data.

Utu ā-tau | Salary
This position is covered by a collective agreement and salary will commence between $137,954 and $142,553 dependent on skills and experience relevant to the role.
