The Civil Aviation Authority is the regulatory arm of our organisation and the Aviation Security Service is the nationwide provider for aviation security.

About the role

The Advisor Organisation Development (OD) is part of the OD team which sits in the People Group| Pūmanawa Tangata. Together, we work as an enabler, partner and key support to the business. This role assists the OD team in providing targeted advice, support, and guidance to our people across the organisation. The team works on a wide range of initiatives related to culture, values, engagement, diversity and inclusion, performance management, hybrid working, rewards and recognition, and policy reviews.

This is a Fixed Term position based at Wellington National Office, with flexible working options available. The salary band for the OD Advisor goes from $83,600 to $116,327 with the midrange being $102,302 pa. The starting salary will be based on the knowledge, skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the role, and relativities both, within the immediate team and in the broader Authority for the same or similar roles.

  • The ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships. * Experience in researching, design, and development of People initiatives. * Quantitative and qualitative analysis skills. * Proficiency in supporting the development of strategies, policies and initiatives across the Authority.
