We’re seeking a strategic leader to drive the direction and objectives of our Merchant Payments portfolio. In this key leadership role, you’ll shape a competitive and customer-focused product suite, develop and deliver an effective roadmap, and lead a high-performing team of product professionals.

You’ll collaborate across Westpac and the wider industry, balancing customer needs, commercial goals, and risk management while role modelling excellence in product management. This is your opportunity to drive transformation, champion innovation, and foster a culture of high performance.

Nā tāu rourou | What will you bring?

Significant acquiring, cards, or transaction banking experience, either as a product professional or banker.
Product management experience within financial services.
Experience leading across a value chain, including driving a high-performance culture for your direct team (within financial services).
Demonstrated experience improving NPS, commercial, risk and people outcomes, including through data driven insights.
Strategy, risk, or product governance experience.
High levels of commercial acumen, leadership capability and delivery focus demonstrated through measurable results.
