The role
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager - Civil to join our Hamilton depot on a full-time, permanent basis. You’ll be responsible for managing civil infrastructure projects from concept to completion, ensuring they're delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality. Reporting to the Delivery Manager, you’ll play a key role in achieving exceptional outcomes for Northpower and our clients.

Being the Project Manager, you will also be responsible for:

• Leading projects from scoping to final delivery
• Managing projects from start to finish, on time and within budget
• Handling customer interactions and coordinating resources
• Overseeing financial performance, invoicing, and project close-out
• Supporting design and estimating when needed.

What we’re looking for?
You’ll have a background in civil construction, with proven experience in project management. You should be comfortable managing multiple projects and working with a range of stakeholders.

Additionally, possessing the following would be beneficial:

• Strong understanding of civil construction and project management, particularly in residential projects
• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and clients
• Financial management, invoicing, and budgeting skills
• Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word and Power Point would be an added advantage
• Full clean Class 1 driver’s licence
• Strong communication, financial, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to motivate and influence others while demonstrating integrity and trust.

This role will demand a high level of integrity and focus on safety and quality while achieving on-time completion of projects and hitting financial targets.
