We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Senior Accountant or Auditor to join our Virtual CFO Business Advisory team in our Auckland office.
Our Virtual Chief Financial Officer (v CFO) Services offers comprehensive management reporting and v CFO advisory support to clients. A Virtual CFO serves as a valuable resource for businesses of all sizes, offering outsourced professional CFO support that aids in financial management and decision-making. Our services encompass a wide spectrum, including financial analysis and management reporting, cashflow management, budgeting/forecasting, profitability analysis, and strategic planning.

Our services encompass a wide spectrum, including financial analysis and management reporting, cashflow management, budgeting/forecasting, profitability analysis, and strategic planning.
What will your typical week look like?
- Support the Senior Manager in preparing business advice and/or producing complex special reports for a wide variety of clients
- Prepare detailed financial and management reports for clients to support effective decision making
- Assist clients with budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling and analysis
- Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to help clients achieve their commercial objectives
- Identify opportunities for process improvement or efficiencies for clients in order to optimise their business
- Keep up to date with market trends and develop in depth knowledge and expertise across various industries, understanding our clients KPIs and key challenges
- Ensuring jobs are completed effectively by meeting technical standards and deadlines, within budget

You are someone with…
- Bachelor or equivalent degree in accounting, finance, or a related area
- Studying towards or completed CA, CPA, CFA (or equivalent) preferred
- Proven experience in finance, accounting, business advisory or external audit
- Skills in financial reporting, technical accounting, management accounting, forecasting and budgeting
- Analytical mindset and ability to draw meaningful insights from data, using Excel and various tools
- Well-developed relationship management skills including teamwork and collaboration
- Desire to learn and driven to deliver and add value
- Adaptable and comfortable working in an ever-evolving role
