Senior Data Engineer

Mō tēnei tūranga mahi | About this role
This team will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering solutions to support the data and reporting needs of key stakeholder groups within the Ministry.
This role will be responsible for the ingestion and storage phases of the data management pipeline and will also be responsible for administering and maintaining the data warehouse and information products resulting from it. You will be expected to maintain a flexible and professional approach to changing demands.
The Data Engineer will be a member of the Data Management team supporting the Ministry's data management practice, platform, processes and products to enable the Digital Transformation.
Ngā Whakaritenga Mōkito | Skills and Experience

Comprehensive experience designing, implementing and maintaining data engineering solutions, and creating and maintaining data pipelines to connect data within and between data stores and applications in the Domain Model
Computer science or data science/management qualifications including Data Vault 2.0, DAMA certification are preferred.
Significant experience in practice lead/ team leadership

Whānuitanga Utu ā-Tau | Salary range
Salary range for this role is $118,318 to $143,695 pa. Appointment within this range will be based on skills and experience.
