Senior IT Support Consultant

Based in Auckland CBD an exciting opportunity for a Senior IT Support Consultant role has arisen! Reporting to the IT Manager, this role will see you responsible for providing support and project management of the computing and technology environment within Sea Link.
Key Accountabilities include:
- Oversee the maintenance and administration of critical IT systems and infrastructure. Ensure high availability and performance of systems.
- Lead and coordinate IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Manage relationships with key technology vendors and service providers. Ensure service levels are met, and issues are resolved promptly.
- Conduct regular system audits and implement improvements.
- Identify and mitigate IT-related risks.
- Develop and deliver training programs for end-users.
- Share knowledge both within the team and those working more widely at Sea Link.
- 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a senior role
- Relevant IT Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
- IT Service Desk Experience
- Application support
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Project Management experience
- Active Directory administration and/or support
- System Administration
- Experience with azure AD (advantageous)
- SQL (advantageous)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to think work independently
- Ability to travel to sites as necessary
