Based in Whakatāne, the Customer Contact team are looking for a new team member to provide administrative support to the team and customer service to the organisation.
We are a corporate support team that includes functions like customer service, facilities and information management, mail processing, document scanning and printing and catering so we are looking for an experienced administrator who can manage deadlines and priorities, all whilst keeping a smile on their face.
This is a fixed term position that goes from present -May 2025, covering a member of the team while they are on parental leave.

As a Support Officer you will;
  • Provide day to day administration support to the Customer Contact Team
  • Manage our catering contracts across the region.
  • Be responsible for corporate clothing and PPE provision for all staff.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of meeting spaces
  • Provide customer service support to frontline reception
  • Support our print room

Ō pūmanawa | Your skills and experience
  • Previous experience in event/meeting coordination or administration role.
  • Excellent Customer relations, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Good level of computer literacy
  • Proactive and solutions focused.
  • Experience in a customer facing role advantageous.
The ideal candidate must be adaptable, have a personable nature and able to think on their feet with experience in either print production, facilities management or frontline customer service

This role is located in Whakatāne. The recruitment salary range for this position will be $56,565 - $66,548 and will be determined based on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
