What you will do
You will collate, prepare and interpret financial reports, budgets and accounts of all financial activities. You will also undertake strategic analysis, assist with strategic planning, undertake research and work closely with the team on pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance.

Pay: ₦300,000.00 - ₦400,000.00 per month

What you will do
You will collate, prepare and interpret financial reports, budgets and accounts of all financial activities. You will also undertake strategic analysis, assist with strategic planning, undertake research and work closely with the team on pricing, competitors and factors affecting performance.
Roles
- Apply new accounting policies to ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations
- Identify new initiatives and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of financial systems and processes
- Maintain and update accounting records and files
- Post transactions and categorizes records in the general ledger by assets, liabilities, revenues and expenses etc.
- Handle vendor payments, customer receipts and ledgers
- Handle monthly employee salary
- Review, pay and confirm accuracy of employee pension with 3rd party providers
- Conducts month-end, quarter-end and year-end procedures
- Analyze revenues, expenses, assets and liabilities to explain variances year-on-year
- Prepare and distribute Monthly and Quarterly Actual vs. Budget reports
- Provides information to auditors for year-end audit
- Advises the organization on financial issues as they arise
- Lead or participate in other approved initiatives and projects as requested by the organization
- Prepare reconciliations and reports for the CEO and external auditors including documenting evidence to support all reconciliations and reports
- At least four (4) years recent experience in a similar role.
- Experience with account reconciliation and year end reports.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experience in the application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles as it relates to recording financial transactions and financial statement presentation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and pay attention to detail.
- Excellent organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize assignment and work under time constraints to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated problem solving and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
