Job Title: Business Development Officer/Software Developer (remote)

Job Summary: Our client a software development company is seeking to hire a business development officer who is also a software developer with deep knowledge of Social media marketing, copywriting and software development frameworks like Java Script. The candidate will be responsible for selling out software products/ services, drafting business proposals and increasing the financial growth of the organization by identifying potential clients and bringing business deals.
Responsibilities:

• Identify and research potential clients to purchase software products and services.
• Close business deals on software products and services
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Coordinate with sales teams to develop mutually beneficial proposals
• Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate with stakeholders
• Monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed
• Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
• Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
• Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business
• Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
• Track and report on the status of proposal components
• Conduct ongoing market research
• Drive the end-to-end sales process
• Prepare and submit sales contracts
• Answer technical questions from customers about the company’s software products/services

Qualification:
· BSc/Hnd in Marketing, computer science, Business Administration or equivalent
· At least 3 years of experience in business development and social media marketing of software products/services.
. 1 year experience in Software development.
· Deep knowledge of software development and social media marketing is a MUST.
· Ability to write a sales pitch and also copywriting skills is necessary.
· Strong communication and presentation skills
· Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Experience managing budgets and reviewing financial statements
· Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
Salary: N300,000
