Role Overview
We are looking for a talented and strategic Content Owner to lead the creation, management, and optimization of content across our digital platforms. As the Content Owner, you will be responsible for ensuring that all content aligns with our brand’s voice and objectives, supports customer engagement, and drives business growth. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and design, to craft compelling and relevant content.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Planning:
- Define and own the content strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and target audience.
- Develop content plans and calendars, setting clear goals and KPIs for content performance.
- Continuously optimize content based on user engagement, feedback, and data analysis.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Write, edit, and oversee the creation of high-quality content, including blog posts, web pages, product descriptions, case studies, white papers, and social media content.
- Ensure that content is consistent in tone, style, and messaging across all platforms.
- Work closely with designers, video creators, and other content contributors to produce multimedia content (images, videos, infographics, etc.).
- SEO & Performance Optimization:
- Implement SEO best practices to ensure content is discoverable and ranks well in search engine results.
- Monitor content performance through analytics tools and make data-driven decisions to improve content reach and engagement.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure that content supports overall digital marketing efforts, including paid campaigns, email marketing, and social media.
- Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work with product managers and engineers to ensure product content is accurate and supports the product development lifecycle.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all content-related decisions and communications across the company.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to create content that addresses customer needs and drives conversions.
- Brand Consistency & Governance:
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in voice and messaging.
- Develop content governance protocols, ensuring content is up-to-date and accurate across all channels.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in content creation, content management, or digital marketing.
- Proven experience in developing and executing content strategies.
- Experience with SEO, content performance analysis, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of digital platforms and the ability to tailor content for web, mobile, and social media.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and grammar.
- Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as Word Press or similar platforms.
- Experience with analytics tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, or Arefs for tracking content performance.
- Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research tools.
- Basic understanding of multimedia content creation, including video, image editing, and graphic design.
