Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Backend Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend services that power our platform. You will work closely with frontend engineers and other team members to build scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems.
Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services, APIs, and database interactions to support frontend functionalities.
• Develop and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performance server-side logic using Python, Lambda and Node.js or similar technologies.
• Manage and optimize databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers to integrate APIs and backend services.
• Ensure compliance with security and data governance policies.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain code quality.
• Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in backend development.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience:
• 3+ years of experience in backend development.
• Strong backend development skills with experience in Node.js, Python, or similar technologies.
• Experience with database management; SQL, No SQL (Dynamo DB, Postgre SQL, Mongo DB and API development.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of security best practices and data protection standards.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Understanding of implementing Web RTC on Firebase.
• Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLM) and how to adopt them in applications
• Knowledge of implementing and integrating LLM with Vector Databases
• Soft Skills:
