We are licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria as payment service provider and mobile money operator.
We are currently recruiting for the role of;
Database Administrator
Location: Yaba, Lagos
Work Model: Hybrid
Responsibilities

Manage and maintain SQL Server and MYSQL databases from development through production environments.
Configure and monitor database servers to ensure peak performance, availability, and security.
Implement data modelling techniques to support integration and performance goals.
Troubleshoot and resolve database issues promptly and effectively.
Automate routine tasks and document changes to streamline processes.
Assist with query optimization and schema design to enhance system performance.
Provide 24/7 support for mission-critical systems.
Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployments outside regular hours.

Key Skills:

Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and MYSQL administration.
Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO) using SQL Server tools.
Proficient in backup, restore, and recovery processes.
Knowledge of High Availability (HA), Database Replication configuration and Disaster Recovery (DR) for SQL Server and MYSQL.
Familiarity with Windows Server and Active Directory.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proactive, flexible, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of managing multiple tasks and switching between activities efficiently.

Requirements

A university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Certifications in Microsoft SQL Server and other database management systems.
3+ years of experience in database administration with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server(compulsory)
Experience in the fintech industry is a major requirement.
