The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced French Teacher to join our dedicated team. You will play a pivotal role in:
French Language:
Delivering engaging and effective French language lessons for secondary school students (aligned with the Nigerian/British Curriculum).
Creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters a love for the French language and culture.
Utilizing a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to promote language acquisition.
Preparing students for external French language examination (IGCSE, W.A.E.C)
You are the ideal candidate if you possess:
A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGDE, B.Ed, TRCN) with French specialization.
A minimum of 3 years of proven experience teaching French in a secondary school setting.
Fluency in French and English, with a strong understanding of French pedagogy.
A passion for languages and and the ability to inspire young learners.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
The ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
A commitment to professional development and staying current with curriculum developments.
Experience with the Nigerian and/or British Curriculum.
