Job Title:Junior Accountant

Tech4mation LTD is an indigenous Information Technology Company based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented accountant to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.
As a Junior Accountant, you will assist in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall accounting functions of the company. You should be organised, analytical, and eager to grow within a fast-paced startup environment
Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoices and expense reports.
• Reconcile and manage company bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Assist in managing the company’s cash flow and ensure timely payments.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and databases.
• Support the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
• Support tax filings and ensure accurate and timely submission of tax-related documents.
• Provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Aid in the analysis of financial data and provide insights to help improve financial performance.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Zohobooks, SAP) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
