**Position:** Maintenance Technician
**Location:** Ignition Club and Arena, Enugu State, Nigeria
**Reports To:** Facilities Manager
#### Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of all facilities and equipment at Ignition Club and Arena. This role involves performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting to create a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and staff.
#### Key Responsibilities:
**General Maintenance:**
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities.
- Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Address maintenance requests promptly and effectively.
**Troubleshooting:**
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems, determining appropriate solutions.
- Respond to emergencies and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
**Safety Compliance:**
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
**Documentation:**
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
**Collaboration:**
- Work closely with management and other staff to coordinate maintenance activities.
- Assist in planning and executing special events and activities that require setup or repairs.
#### Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in maintenance is preferred.
- Previous experience in maintenance or facilities management is an advantage.
- Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
#### Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor.
#### Working Conditions:
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
