Job Title: Product Marketer- Tech (remote)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Product Marketing Marketer to lead our outbound marketing activities. You’ll be responsible for presenting our tech products in ways that will strengthen our brand and boost sales.
For this role, you be a creative and quantitative thinker. You should be familiar with software products and various product marketing techniques, like email campaigns and pricing strategies.
Your goal will be to develop and implement the most profitable plans to position and promote our tech products.
Responsibilities:

• Crafting product marketing messages and unique selling points that set the product apart from the rest in the market
• Understanding the vision of the company and the value of new products and develop tools that facilitate the sales process.
• Planning and participating in the launch of new products and services in the company
• Briefing the press, PR teams on new products and services to be launched in the market
• Presenting products to both internal teams and clients, discussing sales strategy and using market research to establish product pricing
• Performing surveys, interviews and focus groups for obtaining insights about the customer’s product usage and buyer personas to tap new opportunities
• Agreeing on timelines and deadlines of new product development with the product management teams
• Study company products
• Translate technical details into benefits for the user
• Follow and analyze market trends to position products
• Develop product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching)
• Craft compelling messages across marketing channels (landing pages, ad campaigns)

Qualifications:
· BSc/BA marketing, communications or similar field.
· 3 years’ experience as a Product Marketer in the tech industry
· Background in design and copywriting is a plus
· Experience writing sales pitch is a MUST.
· Experience in market analysis
· Familiar with product marketing tactics (e.g. integrated marketing campaigns)
· Working knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Web Trends)
· Excellent communication skills
· Keen eye for detail
· Creativity
· Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills
· Must have a laptop, internet router and a backup power supply.
Salary: N200,000 (Net)
