Fund R, our B2B platform, helps businesses accept payments from Squareme users and others through electronic means.
The Role:
As a Product Marketing Trainee, you will work closely with the Product Marketing team to drive the success of Squareme and Fund R by communicating their values to customers. You will assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies, campaigns, and initiatives aimed at increasing product awareness, customer acquisition, and engagement. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a high-growth environment and learn from industry professionals.
Key Responsibilities:

• Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis in the fintech space.
• Campaign Support: Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across multiple channels (email, social media, content marketing, etc.).
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the content team to develop product-related content such as blog posts, landing pages, product descriptions, and marketing materials.
• Product Feature Launches: Support the launch of new product features, helping to develop go-to-market strategies and product messaging.
• Customer Insights: Gather customer feedback and insights to inform marketing strategies and improve product positioning.
• Analytics and Reporting: Track the performance of marketing campaigns and product metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to ensure alignment on product marketing goals.
• Social Media & Community Engagement: Assist in managing social media accounts and engaging with the online community to build brand awareness.

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Recent degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field with 0-1 year experience. A Corp Member looking for PPA is preferred.
• Interest in Fintech: Passionate about fintech, financial services, and technology.
• Marketing Knowledge: Basic understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical Mindset: Ability to analyze data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, social media platforms, and marketing software (Hub Spot, Mailchimp, etc.) is a plus.
• Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions to marketing challenges.
• Team Player: Eager to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced, startup environment.
