Job Title: Media and Content Intern
Location: Akure, Nigeria
Work Mode: Hybrid, Full-time
Background: Media, Communications, Marketing, Digital Content Creation
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and motivated individual looking to gain hands-on experience in media production, content creation, and digital marketing. The role will involve working closely with the content and media teams to create engaging content that resonates with target audiences across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating written, visual, and multimedia content for the company's website, blog, social media platforms, and newsletters.
- Collaborate with the media team to produce videos, graphics, and other digital assets for campaigns.
- Help manage and grow the company’s social media presence by creating and scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance.
- Brainstorm creative social media campaigns to increase brand visibility and engagement.
- Conduct research on industry trends, audience preferences, and competitors to develop relevant and timely content.
- Write and edit blog posts, articles, and press releases that reflect the company’s voice and tone.
- Assist with email marketing campaigns, including writing and editing content for newsletters and promotions.
- Support the marketing team in executing digital campaigns, tracking performance, and optimizing for better results.
- Assist with video shoots, photo sessions, and live streaming events, ensuring high-quality visual content.
- Edit and post-process photos and videos for social media and other platforms.
- Help manage the content calendar to ensure timely delivery and posting of content.
- Assist in uploading, organizing, and maintaining content across various digital platforms.
- Track and report on the performance of content across different channels (e.g., social media engagement, website traffic, video views).
- Use analytics tools to gain insights into audience behavior and recommend content improvements.
Requirements
- Recently graduated with a degree in Mass communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
- Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to produce engaging content.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, Facebook) and digital marketing.
- Creativity and a passion for storytelling through different media formats (video, photos, blogs, etc.).
- Familiarity with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or video editing software) is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: ₦25,000.00 - ₦100,000.00 per month
