Position Overview:
Our Client, a STEM educator is seeking to recruit Five dedicated STEM Robotics instructor to provide 21st-century skills training to children and youths in Nigeria through engaging Robotics and Coding programs.
Its programs cater to children aged 3-16 in schools.
Join the Team as a FACILITATOR!
As a Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in empowering Nigerian children with hands-on, interactive, and project-based STEM experiences like robotics, Coding and programming.
Our programs utilize innovative tools such as Lego bricks, smart blocks, robotics, and programming, exposing students to the vast possibilities of the tech-enabled world and preparing them for the future. You don't have to worry about preparation, as we provide all teaching materials and tools required for each class.
The Programs
After School Enrichment Program, Camps, Co-Curricular STEM programs
Robotics workshops in secondary schools across SW Nigeria.
*Responsibilities*:
1. Prepare resources for programs based on assigned topics and themes
2. Pre-build models and organize relevant hand-out notes
3. Manage inventory of class resources
4. Conduct classes and workshops following provided training and format
5. Supervise and assist children during classes and after class pick-up
6. Prepare end-of-term report cards as required
7. Ensure student/school registration targets are met for each program - Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers - Support business development activities to introduce the organisation's programs to new schools
8. Collaborate with the Operations and Logistics team to plan, manage, and execute activities according to schedules.
*Desired Skills*
1.Experience in teaching robotics, programming and Coding skills and familiarity with Lego-based learning tools
2. Basic knowledge of robotics platforms and Coding environment ( Scratch, Phython)
3. Can work with children within the ages 3-16.
4. Creative and Innovative
5. Excellent oral communication skills
6. Strong desire to impart knowledge
*Education and Experience:*
1. Bachelor’s degree in Science or Education from a reputable University
2. Verifiable experience as a STEM Robotics Facilitator within our Organisation’s target age group.
