TAILOR SUPERVISOR.
Job Summary:
The Tailor Supervisor oversees the production process in a fashion house, ensuring efficient and high-quality production of garments or textiles. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills to manage teams, timelines, and resources.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management: Supervise and coordinate production teams, including sewing, cutting, and finishing departments.
2. Production Planning: Plan and schedule production, setting targets and deadlines.
3. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high-quality standards, conducting regular inspections and addressing quality issues to ensure that all garments meet standard measurements and designs.
4. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
5. Material Management: Oversee fabric and material inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and minimizing waste.
6. Time and Attendance: Manage team members' time and attendance, ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
7. Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to team members, promoting skill development and growth.
8. Communication: Liaise and collaborate with design, pattern-making, and other departments to translate creative concepts into production ready garments and ensure smooth production processes.
9. Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot production issues, resolving problems promptly and effectively.
10. Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on production metrics, detailing progress, challenges, analyzing data and proffering solutions for improvements.
11. Applicant must be ready to work extra hours when work demands
12. Applicant must have a good Android/i Phone as one of the work tools needed.
Required Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills

- Technical knowledge of garment construction, textiles, and production processes
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., fashion, textile science, or management)
