Assignment Description

• Responsible for the Joint Venture accounting of Operated producing fields;
• Prepare and publish (L2S) monthly joint interest billings and cash calls.
• Month end close activities: check and book accruals, run settlements in SAP, final sense check (review/analyse) balance and cost in billing, cost review meetings with cost controllers.
• Monthly reconciliation of the general ledger accounts for area of responsibility.
• Quarterly reporting to Statistisk Sentralbyrå.
• Internal controls.
• Ad hoc tasks/projects/queries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in finance/accounting
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience from Joint Venture accounting
• SAP experience
• Ability to work independently
• Good communicator, both within department and the rest of organization
• Analytic skills
• Great attention to details
• Proactive
• Assist other team members
• Norwegian and English
