Business Analyst - Product

The Business Analyst will be part of the Product Strategy and Operations team, the back-bone of Auto Store’s product-led growth. The team serves the Auto Store Product organization with market intelligence, analytics and business case modelling. In addition, the team is pivotal to taking make-buy-partner decisions to extend the Auto Store product portfolio.
We are looking for a professional with business acumen, versatility on working on different topics and an insatiable curiosity towards understanding market trends within the warehousing automation space.
Key Responsibilities:

Gather and analyze customer feedback and market data to inform product strategy and development.

Provide market insights to formulate product strategy and identify new growth areas.

Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs.

Establish and maintain robust data collection and analysis systems to provide actionable insights that drive product decisions.

Drive the adoption of new tools, processes, and methodologies that support efficient and effective product operations.

Monitoring Auto Store product pricing in a holistic manner, ensuring that we are always priced based on the value provided to our customers.

Support the strategy, commercial and product leadership teams with formulating new revenue models/bundles on Auto Store products and defining price levels.

Collaborate with Sales to provide accurate sales demand data for forecasting and planning.

Support the product organization in creating and keeping up-to-date business cases for our products, translating business findings into tangible decision criteria.

Support the Director of Product Strategy and Operations in formulating make-buy-partner decisions. This involves understanding when product development is the best path to execute our corporate strategy.

Screening and fit evaluation of M&A and partnership targets from a commercial and product perspective.
Key qualifications we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering or a related field; Master’s preferred.

3+ years of experience in an analytical role involving business acumen, ideally from a fast-growing corporate environment or a top-tier consulting firm.

Proven track record of driving cross-functional initiatives at a fast pace and delivering results on time.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the desire to create an industry network within and outside of Auto Store.

Excellent Power Point and Excel skills.

Ability to articulate and summarize complex ideas into simple and digestible formats.
-
Experience in supply chain/logistics or familiarity with warehouse automation solutions is a plus.

Experience in formulating pricing models (Saa S especially) is a plus.

Location for this role is our office at Lysaker in Oslo, Stavanger or Haugesund, Norway. Ulm - Germany, Graz - Austria or Nottingham - UK.
