About Telenor Cyberdefence AS
Telenor Cyberdefence AS is a wholly owned, newly started Nordic cyber security company in the Telenor Group. Telenor Cyberdefence AS' ambition is to become a leading MSSP (Managed Security Services Provider) in the Nordic market, among other things by using Telenor's unique access to threat intelligence to support our services. In addition to delivering modern managed security services, Telenor Cyberdefence AS will also offer specialist expertise through advisory and technical consultancy services and testing of infrastructure / applications with our Offensive Security team.
We are looking for a business-oriented financial controlling professional with the ability to handle a large span of tasks in an efficient manner at Telenor Cyberdefence HQ in Oslo/Fornebu. You will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the company and be a vital contributor to building a lean finance function for our growing business.
Key responsibilities:

Right hand to the CFO ensuring efficient and high-quality financial reporting and support in various responsibilities within the finance area such as accounting, payroll, compliance, internal control, ESG and tax/VAT.

Contribute to designing and implementing lean and automated processes within our finance function.

Monthly, quarterly and yearly closing and financial reporting to both Telenor Cyberdefence management team and the owner Telenor Group.

Contributing to strategic planning, forecasting, business controlling and performance management.

Day-to-day interaction with our external accounting agency, e.g. regarding customer invoicing, supplier invoices, salary administration, VAT, tax, etc.

Interaction with Telenor Group finance functions and other finance teams in Telenor Group companies.

Support in customer offers and tenders and profitability analyses.
We believe you have the following qualifications and personal skills:
-
Proven experience as a financial controller in a dynamic and competitive environment, preferably within the information technology industry and/or from medium-sized growth companies.

Experience of auditing, accounting or management consulting is highly relevant.

Proficient in financial modeling and data analysis tools, such as Excel and Power BI. Preferably, experience with standard accounting platforms.

You have a strong analytical mindset and can handle multiple tasks within the finance domain in an efficient manner.

Good understanding of IFRS accounting, tax and VAT.

Willingness to learn about the business models within an MSSP and the efficient financial handling of these business models.

You demonstrate drive, energy and the ability to work in teams.

Master's degree in finance / business administration, or chartered accountant, or other relevant education.
