Your Mission
Reporting to our VP Finance, you will be a key player in our Group Finance Team. You will oversee the Group´s development of financial reporting processes in accordance with IFRS. In addition, you will be responsible for the development, monitoring and ensuring overall compliance with the Group’s tax and transfer pricing policies. You will also contribute significantly to building the framework for ESG reporting in Mercell.
Mercell is highly data driven and the Group Accounting Manager is critical to ensure high quality of our financial reporting, which in the next steps is instrumental for decision making both related to regular reporting, forecasting and budgeting, but also related to ad hoc analytical initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

Responsible for financial controlling at Group level
-
Develop and monitor processes and control activities to ensure high quality of financial reporting, including reporting from all our subsidiaries

Responsible for monthly and annual financial report to management / Board of Directors, in addition to ad hoc /other financial reporting to management and owners
-
Responsible for Group Accounting Policies (IFRS), tax and Transfer Pricing
-
Contribute to establishing a framework and processes for ESG / CSRD reporting
-
Responsible for the consolidation system (Netsuite) and relevant additional reporting functions
Required Qualifications
-
Master’s degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or similar
-
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably from Audit (big 4) or similar operational role
-
Strong skills within accounting, IFRS and tax
-
Experience from and interest in ERP / consolidation systems and reporting tools

Advanced user in Excel

Good communication skills in English and Norwegian
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience or interest in Tech / Saa S companies is an advantage
-
Experience or interest in ESG / CSRD reporting is an advantage
