There is a need to strengthen the focus on digital transformation across the organization, including building competence and a culture that is data driven and focusing on cloud native architecture, new technology, security, privacy, big data and AI.
Telenor Norway Transformation Program is now seeking our new Head of Digital Transformation. Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer (CTRO), you will be responsible for supporting and following up on the transformative journey of the IT/digital landscape in Norway and ensure necessary coordination with One Nordics initiatives.
As Head of Digital Transformation, you will assist in formulating and executing Telenor Norway’s digital transformation strategy. This includes designing and follow up complex digitalization initiatives, drive efficiency, foster synergies, and enhance collaboration across divisions in Telenor Norway, and the Nordics.
Furthermore, the role entails challenging traditional work methods and assumptions, collaborating with senior leadership, transformation initiative leads, and enhancing communication with frontline workers.
The role will be joining our Transformation Office team, consisting of 6-7 experienced and transformative leaders within the area of Technology, Digital and Commercial, coupled with strong program management office and business analytics competencies.
Some of your main responsibilities:

Transformational Leadership: Support in developing and following up on the execution of a robust Digital Transformation agenda in Telenor Norway.

Operating Model Development: Support in developing Telenor Norway’s new operating model in collaboration with key functions in technology, consumer, business and HR.

Stakeholder Management: Ensure strong stakeholder management to ensure that agreed-upon steps of a Digital Transformation are being delivered.

Collaboration and Best Practices: Support and follow up transformation initiatives in high-level orchestration of complex dilemmas, emphasizing efficiency and collaboration during transforming.

Project Management and Governance: Support relevant transformation initiatives, by contribution to removing program roadblocks, and help in preparing key decisions that needs to be raised to executive management for decision making. Follow up progress on plans and objectives of initiatives, establishing lean governance with relevant stakeholders within Telenor Norway and Telenor Nordics.
Preferred experience and qualifications:

3-7 years experience and track record in leading/supporting digital transformation initiatives.

IT domain knowledge within cloud native architecture and technologies, agile methodologies and ways of working, security, privacy, big data and AI.

Strong business sense and industry knowledge.

In-depth understanding of the Telenor Norway’s IT landscape is an advantage.

Strong stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to align strategies with business goals.

Proven project management and governance capabilities.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and synergy across diverse teams.

Master’s degree, preferably within business, information technology or engineering is preferred.
