Your Role in Our Mission
As a Legal Counsel - Tax at Schibsted, you’ll be more than a tax specialist—you’ll be a strategic partner shaping the financial and operational landscape of some of Scandinavia’s most beloved brands. You’ll work at the intersection of law, business strategy, and innovation, providing critical insights that help drive growth and sustainability.
You’ll ensure compliance with tax regulations while spotting opportunities to optimize and streamline our approach. Whether it’s advising on corporate restructures, managing transfer pricing, or liaising with tax authorities, your work will have a direct and lasting impact on the future of our business.

Your Role in Our Mission
As a Legal Counsel - Tax at Schibsted, you’ll be more than a tax specialist—you’ll be a strategic partner shaping the financial and operational landscape of some of Scandinavia’s most beloved brands. You’ll work at the intersection of law, business strategy, and innovation, providing critical insights that help drive growth and sustainability.
You’ll ensure compliance with tax regulations while spotting opportunities to optimize and streamline our approach. Whether it’s advising on corporate restructures, managing transfer pricing, or liaising with tax authorities, your work will have a direct and lasting impact on the future of our business.
What You'll Do
- Lead tax strategy across our markets in Norway, Sweden, Finland and Denmark with occasional collaborations on global initiatives.
- Identify tax optimization opportunities that enhance business operations and reduce costs.
- Provide expert advice on corporate transactions, restructuring, and the launch of new ventures
- Advice on tax reporting, handle audits, and ensure full compliance with local and international tax laws.
- Manage transfer pricing documentation for intra-group transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Product, and Legal, to provide holistic tax solutions.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in managing Norwegian and international tax matters, ideally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Language Skills: Fluency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language, with full professional proficiency in English.
- Personal Attributes: A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and confidently across different disciplines.
