We are currently seeking Subsea Pipeline & Spool Design Engineers to join the Pipeline Design Discipline in Stavanger, Norway.
This position is unique, providing opportunities in a range of engineering skills from structural/mechanical design to flow assurance and hydrodynamics. Design work, adopting general principles, and running finite element analysis are key skills, as well as scripting and programming through digitalization and automation.

- Pipeline and Spool Routing and Field Layouts
- Pipeline and Spool Mechanical Design
- Pipeline On-Bottom Roughness and Free Span Analysis
- Pipeline Global Buckling and Expansion Analysis
- In-place Design of Pipe-in-Pipe and Bundle Solutions
- Trawling Impact and Pull-Over Analysis
- Spool Design for Tie-in and Expansion

What we want from you:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Marine, Offshore, Naval Architecture)
- Minimum 3 years relevant work experience
- Experience from execution projects including engineering of subsea pipeline systems
- Knowledge and experience using any of the software; Abaqus, Ansys, Orca Flex, Matlab, Mathcad, is an advantage
- Programming and scripting skills (Python) is an advantage
- Overview and understanding of applicable design codes, industry standards and legislative requirements
- Well organised and highly developed systematic working methods
- Good communication and networking skills
- Proactive and motivated
- High integrity
- Strong analytical skills
