Corvus Energy is a front-runner in digital solutions for the Maritime battery industry. Our team is responsible for utilizing (+100TB) operational data from more than 400 vessels across the globe. We build models and algorithms for near real-time proactive monitoring, analytics, and advanced advisory services. Key technologies for the position are currently Azure Data Explorer, Azure Data Factory, Io T Hub and various API integrations.
The position's main responsibility is to work on Data Architecture in our Azure cloud and to analyze and organize raw data from field. This position will work in close cooperation with Global IT and support our team of Data Scientists. The role will have responsibility for Corvus databases and data lake in Azure Cloud.

Responsibilities and main tasks
- Data pipeline, Data Management and improve Data Quality.
- Pipeline development in .NET
- Scalability and performance
- Software and app development
- Aligning Cloud Architecture with business requirements
- Data Modelling
- API Data Integration
- Build algorithms and prototypes.
- Work on Data Architecture
- Maintain digital twins.
- Development of new data handling routines and data collection approaches
- Ability to extract business critical knowledge and learning from project work and implement in Corvus organization.
- Ability to define and apply business value for Corvus from external project work.
- Ability to disseminate and train Corvus colleagues in data-driven decision making.
- Ability to communicate and educate our customers and end-users on our findings and modelling capabilities and tools.
- MSc / BSc in Mathematics, Statistics Cybernetics, Mechatronics or Programming
- 3+ years of experience in predictive modelling and analysis, predictive software development
- Experience with relevant software tools within AI, machine learning, analytics, prediction modelling.
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- .NET development, experience with Azure cloud
- Experience using Python and/or R
- SQL, KQL, ETL
- Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, Databricks or DBT, Spark, Doris, Clickhouse
- Airflow, Dragster
- Docker, K8s
- Strong communication and data presentation skills
- Good written and verbal English skills
- Excellent team player
- Highly analytical
