Some of the main responsibilities:
- Oversee properties in Norway to boost profitability, productivity, and flexibility.
- Supervise major real estate investments while ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Maintain and update Telenor's register of significant real estate assets.
- Foster strong connections with key landlords and real estate agents to enhance our negotiation power.
- Manage the tender process for property leases, ensuring all departments contribute and deadlines are met.
- Evaluate proposed deals and provide clear reports and recommendations for management.
- Promote space and energy efficiency, and prioritize health, safety, and environmental standards for a safe workplace.
As our Real Estate Manager, we are looking for a professional:
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of professional experience in corporate or global real estate settings.
- Proficient in managing facility operations, analysing occupancy costs, and negotiating commercial leases, with a solid understanding of lease accounting.
- Familiar with construction systems and building design principles.
- Firsthand experience in real estate transactions and financial analysis.
- Excellent people skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Strong organizational skills paired with strong negotiation capabilities.
- Availability to travel both locally and internationally.
- Advanced proficiency in both English & Norwegian.
