Assignment Description

• Produce new documentation and drawings such as Heat Trace layouts, Light and small power layouts, etc.
• Revise existing documentation and drawings
• Produce work package for installation
• Produce calculations, short circuit, heat trace and lighting.
• Order electrical materials needed for installation.
• Must be able to understand P & IDs and drawings from different disciplines

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or Technology degree with related Trade Certificates
• Knowledge of relevant standards such as PTIL, ATEX, IEC61892 and Norsok Knowledge of modifications on offshore and onshore installations when in operation
• Experienced in several process & utility systems, incl. Main Power, Emergency Power and UPS supported systems
• Knowledge of instrument and electrical equipment used in the oil industry
• Knowledge of the difference of using hydraulic, pneumatic or electrical systems as the power source in the safety system
• Experience with engineering systems like Febdok, Pims, Pro Arc, STID, Pro Co Sys, Heat Trace calculation, Tag-systems and Microstation, is preferred.
• Excellent English writing and speaking skills. Norwegian language is preferred.
• Required Certificates: EX, FSE
