We are looking for a talented Software Engineer with expertise in Python, SQL, and API protocols to join our Voice team.
Your role includes voice integration development, ensuring design meets nonfunctional requirements, and providing guidance to mentor team members. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance our voice product's success and competitiveness.
Key responsibilities:
- Full lifecycle software development for functionality related to Conversational AI within voice integrations.
- Conduct scoping for new voice integrations, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners and customers to understand their needs and deliver solutions.
- Provide automation capabilities through the implementation of testing tools, improving development speed and agility.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and challenges during the development process.
- Conduct code reviews, identify areas of improvement, and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
- Contribute to the overall development, testing, and shipping of voice integrations.
- Interfacing with internal and external resources to understand development and maintenance needs, as well as acting as a subject matter expert for ourvoice offering.
Requirements:
- Strong Python engineering skills.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience with API integrations.
- Experience with CI / automated testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to predict and mitigate risks in software development.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proactive, with the ability to independently identify areas of improvement.
- Ability to solve complex challenges.
- Experience working with voice technologies and with relevant software is a plus.
- Experience or interest in Machine Learning is a plus
