The successful candidate will be a key player in verifying and reporting information for multiple entities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Record routine financial transactions
Perform the period-end close process including reconciliation of accounts, investigate discrepancies and preparation of financial accounts
Assist in the preparation of year-end working papers for external accountants
Assist with or provide reports to Management
Support the Operations Department with routine finance tasks
Adhere to policies, standards and procedures established for internal controls and financial reporting
Other special projects and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum two (3) years of progressive accounting and financial experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is considered an asset
Strong Microsoft Office skills; including Excel, Word, and Power Point
Excellent interpersonal skills with a team-oriented attitude
