Description
Reports to: Project Manager
As a Mid-Level Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, ensuring that the final product meets both functional and business objectives. Your role will involve supporting the project team through various stages of the product development lifecycle, from initiation to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Requirement Gathering & Analysis: Work with internal and external stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for Fintech solutions.
· Process Mapping: Define and document current and future state business processes, workflows, and data flows.
· Solution Design Support: Collaborate with development and UX/UI teams to design solutions that align with business needs and technological capabilities.
· User Stories & Use Cases: Develop detailed user stories, use cases, and functional specifications that clearly communicate requirements to the development team.
· Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
· Data Analysis: Perform data analysis to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improving the financial products.
· Quality Assurance Support: Assist the QA team in developing test cases and ensure that the delivered solution meets the documented requirements.
· Project Coordination: Support the project manager in tracking project progress, timelines, and deliverables.
· Post-Implementation Support: Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during the implementation phase to ensure a smooth rollout of the solution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the Fintech or financial services domain.
· Strong understanding of Fintech products, financial markets, or payment systems.
· Experience in creating detailed requirement specifications, user stories, and process flows.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.
· Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions.
· Proficiency with business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or Microsoft Visio.
· Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment is a plus.
· Knowledge of APIs, financial regulations, or data analytics tools will be an advantage.
