Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Campus Maintenance Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day maintenance operations of our school campus, ensuring the timely upkeep of all school assets, and managing vendor relationships. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and conducive learning environment for our students and staff. The Campus Maintenance Officer will report directly to the school leadership or designated administrative head.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the campus maintenance.
- Ensure timely maintenance of the entire campus and upkeep of school assets.
- Handle vendor management at the school level, coordinating with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair work.
- Report maintenance activities and issues to school leadership.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
- Maintain an inventory of school assets and ensure their proper upkeep.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Oversee the scheduling and completion of maintenance tasks to minimize disruption to school activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to support school events and activities requiring maintenance support.
Qualifications:
- DAE Civil / Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in facilities or maintenance management, preferably in an educational institution.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
