Job Description:
Aaj TV is seeking a skilled Copy Editor with a strong background in business writing to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, impeccable grammar, and the ability to enhance content for clarity, accuracy, and engagement, particularly in business-related topics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, edit, and proofread business-related articles, reports, and news stories.
- Ensure that all content aligns with Aaj TV's style guide and editorial standards.
- Collaborate with the content creation team to refine ideas and deliver high-quality business content.
- Fact-check and verify the accuracy of information presented in articles.
- Provide feedback and guidance to writers for improving overall quality and consistency.
- Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining high editorial standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in copy editing, specifically in business writing.
- Strong understanding of business, finance, and economic terms.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in editing software and content management systems.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
