Job Description:
We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer to join our expanding team in Islamabad, Pakistan. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our infrastructure and data from potential threats, ensuring the security of our cloud and edge systems, and protecting the integrity of our digital twin and AI-driven technologies
Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust security protocols to protect Kodifly’s infrastructure, including cloud and edge systems.
  
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  
• Develop and maintain security tools and frameworks for real-time threat detection, monitoring, and incident response.
  
• Ensure the security of our 3D point cloud data, digital twin models, and Li DAR processing technologies.
  
• Collaborate with development and Dev Ops teams to ensure secure software development life cycles (SDLC).
  
• Implement encryption techniques, firewalls, and security controls to safeguard sensitive data and systems.
  
• Monitor security events, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
  
• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and compliance regulations to adapt strategies accordingly.
  
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and incident response management.
  
• Ensure compliance with relevant security frameworks and industry standards, such as ISO 27001, GDPR, or NIST.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or in a similar role with a focus on cloud and edge security.
  
• Strong understanding of encryption, network security, and risk management frameworks.
  
• Proficiency in security tools such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners.
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and associated security services.
  
• Hands-on experience with security best practices in software development and Dev Sec Ops methodologies.
  
• Knowledge of scripting and automation for security tasks (e.g., Python, Bash).
  
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity compliance and privacy regulations.
