We are seeking an experienced Auto CAD Technician/Designer with a strong understanding of drafting and design principles. The ideal candidate should be proficient in creating detailed drawings and managing design files with precision and accuracy. The role will involve the following responsibilities:
- Develop detailed line and polyline drawings in Auto CAD, ensuring technical accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Create and manage layers and line styles to enhance the clarity and organization of design projects.
- Import and manage external references (XREFs), images, and raster images for integration into design projects.
- Apply and manage coordinate systems within Auto CAD to ensure accurate geospatial data alignment.
- Work with survey point data files, including importing CSV files, for use in civil and engineering projects.
- Collaborate with the engineering and design team to ensure that all drawings meet project requirements and standards.
- Proven experience in Auto CAD drafting and design.
- Familiarity with managing layers, line styles, XREFs, and raster images.
- Knowledge of applying and managing coordinate systems.
- Experience with survey point files and importing CSV data.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of drafting and design.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
