Responsibilities:
1. Audit Management:

• Develop and execute the periodic audit plan
• Lead internal audits and ensure comprehensive documentation of audit activities
• Identify areas of improvement in the company’s operations and provide actionable recommendations
• Ensure timely follow-up on audit findings and implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

2. Compliance Oversight:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant local and international regulations
• Maintain and update the company’s compliance policies and procedures
• Conduct regular compliance training for staff to enhance awareness and understanding of regulatory requirements
• Oversee the implementation of compliance programs and initiatives

3. Reporting:

• Prepare and present audit and compliance reports to senior management and the CEO
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of regulatory reports

4. Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor a team of audit and compliance professionals
• Foster a culture of integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team, adhering to strong work ethics

5. Policy Governance and Document Management

• Responsible for policy development, approval, timely updates, and implementation, with a solid grasp of existing policies
• Place a strong emphasis on meticulous documentation management, ensuring privacy protection, and maintaining confidentiality across all processes

Eligibility Criteria For the Role:

• Experience in Brokerage Industry/ Capital Market is a must.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent. Master’s degree and/or relevant certifications is a plus
• Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in audit and compliance within the financial services industry. Experience with regulatory bodies such as the SECP and PSX preferable
• Proven track record of leading successful audit and compliance programs
• In-depth knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements in Pakistan
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
