The Company:
Zarea Limited is the Pakistan’s largest and fast growing digital marketplace for physical commodities. We a B2B company source commodities and products from our local supplier base and sell them to customers in Pan-Pakistan.
Position: Head of Internal Audit
The Head of Internal Audit should be independent of the company's operations and management to ensure unbiased reporting and evaluation. He will be responsible for continuous Professional Development: The person should commit to ongoing professional development to stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
The Role:
- The person should possess:
- In-depth knowledge of accounting, finance, and internal control systems.
- Understanding of risk management and internal audit frameworks.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Professional Certification: Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost and Management Accountant (CMA), or a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
- Experience: at least 5 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, or a related field.
