S. Zia-Ul-Haq & Sons is looking for a Planning Engineer!
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Planning Engineer to join our team.
The Planning Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of project schedules. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget by providing accurate scheduling, forecasting, and progress reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, including work breakdown structures (WBS), milestones, and timelines.
- Monitor project timelines, identifying potential delays and recommending corrective actions.
- Update schedules based on project progress and changes in scope, and communicate updates to all relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with project teams to determine resource requirements for each project phase.
- Ensure the effective allocation and utilization of resources to meet project deadlines.
- Identify potential risks that could impact project timelines or costs and develop mitigation strategies.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather accurate project information and updates.
- Assist in the development of project budgets and ensure that project costs remain within the approved budget.
- Maintain accurate records of project schedules, progress reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure that all planning activities comply with company policies, procedures, and industry standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in project planning and management.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, and control.
