Rock Salt Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the procurement of raw materials, equipment, and supplies needed for rock salt production and export.
- Experience of at least 5-10 years.
- The candidate should have connections in the rock salt and other commodities markets.
- The candidate should be willing to work hard, for long hours and should be capable of working under pressure.
- The candidate should have no issues in traveling and staying in other cities for work.
- The candidate should be willing to work when he or she is given tasks other than their domain.
- The candidate should have total knowledge and expertise of developing and executing a supplying chain.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers for consistent and timely delivery of goods.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate inventory management to avoid production delays.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
- Prepare procurement reports, analyze trends, and provide insights to management.
- Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a similar role, ideally in the mining or salt industry.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of procurement software and systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with local and international procurement regulations is a plus.
Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
