Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Estimator specializing in Mechanical & Plumbing (M&P) projects who also has a strong understanding of Electrical systems. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accurately estimating project costs, materials, and labor requirements across M&P and Electrical scopes, ensuring competitive bids and thorough analysis for successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:

• Cost Estimation:
• Prepare detailed estimates for M&P systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
• Conduct comprehensive electrical system cost assessments, materials, and labor estimations as required.
• Project Documentation:
• Interpret blueprints, project specifications, and technical documents to provide accurate cost breakdowns.
• Develop project cost summaries, bid proposals, and pricing schedules for client submissions.
• Collaboration with Project Teams:
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure seamless estimation processes.
• Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to acquire accurate cost inputs for M&P and electrical components.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
• Ensure all estimates comply with relevant codes, standards, and company policies.
• Review construction documents and specifications to maintain high-quality standards in estimates and proposals.
• Market Analysis & Optimization:
• Research market pricing, supply chain options, and trends for materials to create accurate and competitive bids.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities for project efficiency and profitability.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience: 3+ years of experience in estimating Mechanical & Plumbing projects with demonstrated Electrical knowledge.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems; experience with relevant codes and standards.
• Software Proficiency: Skilled in Auto CAD, Revit, or similar CAD software, along with estimating software like Bluebeam, Planswift, or Pro Est.
• Analytical Skills: Detail-oriented with strong numerical skills and ability to interpret complex project documents.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with MEP coordination and experience estimating in various industries, such as construction or commercial projects.
