We are looking for a talented Senior QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Ruby on Rails and related testing frameworks, such as Puppeteer. The QA Automation Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing processes.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a talented Senior QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be proficient in developing and maintaining automated test scripts using Ruby on Rails and related testing frameworks, such as Puppeteer. The QA Automation Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through automated testing processes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Ruby on Rails and related testing frameworks, such as Puppeteer.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and identify test scenarios for automation.
- Design, implement, and execute automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications.
- Perform regression testing, functional testing, and performance testing as needed.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects, documenting and tracking issues through resolution.
- Work closely with developers to understand software architecture and identify areas for automation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and automation best practices.
- Continuously research and evaluate new tools and technologies to improve automated testing processes.
- Contribute to the overall QA strategy and help drive initiatives to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of experience in QA automation testing.
- Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails and related testing frameworks, such as Puppeteer.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Puppeteer or Selenium).
- Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (Google Cloud).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
