About the role
Software Engineer II (Backend Developer) – Pakistan
We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to a vital finance related internal solution. Your active involvement in highly mission-critical processes within the company will require expertise in developing and maintaining essential software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Development: Development and implementation of backend services and APIs.
- Collaboration with IT: Work closely with IT professionals, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the infrastructure meets the team's application requirements. Facilitate clear communication regarding infrastructural needs, updates, and enhancements to support optimal performance and scalability.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes.
- Support: Provide technical support and guidance to end-users for our team’s applications.
- Maintenance and Monitoring: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, collaborate with other IT teams to ensure system reliability.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of .NETCore ( .NET7+)
- Strong knowledge RDBMS (MSSQL Server).
- Strong knowledge of RESTful API best practices, design patterns and expertise in OOP.
- Strong knowledge or ORM tools (Entity Framework Core)
- Proficient experience with version control systems (GIT)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with optimization of database management systems is a plus.
- Experience with monitoring tools (PRTG, Zabbix) is a plus.
- Experience with Signal R is a plus.
- Experience with Linux based systems is a plus.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins) is a plus.
- Experience with Web Servers (IIS, Nginx) is a plus.
