- Hands on Linux and windows Server administration.
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and Linux Operating Systems.
- Working knowledge and experience of Zimbra collaboration and Open LDAP server.
- Working knowledge and experience of Active Directory (group policy) user and group administration.
- Hands on Microsoft IIS administration and configuration.
- Working knowledge and experience of switching and routing protocols. LAN Routing and Switching design, configuration and troubleshooting (VLANs, IP Sub-netting, 802.1Q trunks).
- Knowledge of Email security gateway, load balancing, high availability and failover cluster.
- Must be familiar with managing server virtualization technologies like VMWare Server/ESXI or Microsoft Hyper-V/Virtual Server.
- Extensive knowledge Database Servers (MS SQL, MYSQL, MARIADB) administration.
- Knowledge of Web servers including IIS, Apache and Nginx.
- Awareness of security-based changes processes, i.e., Port changes, user authentication, system, and traffic logging.
- Knowledge of system vulnerabilities and security issues.
- In depth knowledge of common protocols like TCP, UDP, SMTP, POP, IMAP, FTP and HTTP/ HTTPS.
- Knowledge of DHCP, VLAN, DNS, TCP/IP, Routing and Switching.
- Knowledge of Storages SAN/NAS.
- Knowledge of Antivirus/EDR solutions.
- Must be familiar with website hosting, website redirecting, maintain DNS records, Nginx, Apache and Word Press.
- Knowledge of Implement SMTP server, VPN, Postfix, SSL certificates.
- Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) planning and implementation.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, time management to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with both independently and in a team environment as needed.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
- Available to provide 24/7 on-call support if need arises
- (BE/BS) Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or
