Position Overview:
As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our Emerald Coast Striping/Mc Shea Contracting business. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong financial acumen, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in financial management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the monthly closing process, financial reporting, analysis & forecasting, annual budget creation, cash management and more The successful candidate chosen will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a PE (Private Equity) backed company. This is an on-site position (no remote) at our Panama City, FL location.
Responsibilities:

• Working with our in house CPA, you will help lead the monthly financial close process.
• Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic decision-making and optimize financial performance.
• Manages daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly management reporting cadence, providing valuable insights and analytics to management.
• Lead change initiatives and develop a balanced implementation approach.
• Develop and manage the annual budget for the business.
• Utilize Power BI, advanced Excel, and other tools for data analysis and reporting.
• Demonstrate proficiency in private equity principles and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide financial insights to support business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external service providers to maximize performance, solve business problems, and drive results.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's Degree and/or CPA certification a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of financial reporting experience, with at least 2 years in a manager role.
• Proven experience in budget creation, financial forecasting, and analysis.
• Strong data analytical skills with strong mathematical and systems skills.
• Expertise in Excel and Power Point is a must. Power BI, Foundation, One Stream, SQL server, or multi-dimensional database experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex financial information to diverse audiences.
