*Job Summary*
The Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of facilities and equipment. This position involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, along with the ability to lead and supervise maintenance activities.
*Duties*
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and machinery.
- Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Weld and fabricate components as required for repairs or modifications.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all maintenance activities.
*Experience*
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong emphasis on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Proficient in welding and fabrication techniques is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Knowledge of CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks is advantageous.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
