Med Surg RN

Health Care Support is actively seeking a Med Surg RN to fill an opening with nationally ranked healthcare facility in Panama City, FL.

Daily Responsibilities for Med Surg RN:

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.
• Schedule: 3x12's Flexible your choice of Days or Nights!!

Required Qualifications for Med Surg RN:

• Florida RN license (if compact, active FL license w/in 90 days)
• 1+ year of RN bedside experience using clinical skills
• 1+ year of recent acute care/hospital experience strongly preferred
• BLS w/in 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications for Med Surg RN:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Pay Details: $26.00 - $39.00 an hour + Shift Differentials
