We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience in a fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for the food industry, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, utilizing cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas for various events, including catering services.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and dining areas throughout shifts.
- Previous experience in the food industry or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced restaurant setting is essential.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the restaurant industry
- Proficiency in POS systems, including Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality
- Ability to handle cash transactions and maintain accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and regulations
- Experience in catering or banquet services is a plus
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
